Hailey

I hold my breath when a redhead walks into the studio. Like...I don't get excited about TOO many things but when I know I'm going to get to photograph a redhead....whoa. Give me space for my happy dance!

Smile, laugh, share all your joy, Hailey. You're going places in this world. Enjoy it!

Baby Emerie

"A baby girl...
one of the most beautiful miracles in life,
one of the greatest joys we can ever know,
and one of the reasons why
there is a little extra sunshine, laughter and happiness
in your world today."

Remy

Like sister, like brother.

It was two years ago that I was photographing Remy's big (little) sister, Ryly. And not to my surprise, he was just as easy and captivating to shoot. Holy BLUE STEEL, Remy. Lay off...will ya!

Elizabeth

"We have nothing to lose and a world to see."

Elizabeth, thank you for being so fun to photograph. I started that day with low energy and, if I'm being honest, I was a little grumpy about all the things I had on my plate. When I started photographing you, all of the stress just melted away and I couldn't stop giggling. You are so sweet!

Daryl

She couldn't be more different. More unique.

I mean, who can rock a Harry Potter wand for their Seniors? This girl. Obviously.

King Family

Three Daughters. I'm sure dad thought...."What the heck am I going to do with THREE GIRLS? Prom dresses? Boyfriends? Weddings? 'That time of the month'?! What am I going to DO?!"

But let me tell you, he figured it out. Because these girls clearly are growing up into lovely, smart, strong, happy young ladies who adore their mom and dad.

Thank you for letting me photograph your beautiful faces, King Family!!

(And your beautiful behinds too ;)

Finley Family

Porter, Porter, Porter. The first time I laid eyes (and a camera) on you was almost exactly two years ago. In your little Dinosaur Halloween costume. Three months old. What a little joy and treasure you have been to photograph over the last two years.

Jeff and Lexi, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to capture your Little Man and your family. Maybe it's because I'm preggers and emotional but I get choked up when I think of getting to watch you grow as a family. You are so special!!

The Copelands

The conditions for this session couldn't have been more perfect. Cute family, adorable kids, and a beautiful and warm evening smack dab in the middle of a freezing cold week! The little guy was serious at the beginning, but he warmed up quickly and gave us some contagious smiles! We  had fun laughing and playing around in the field with beautiful mountain views. Thank you, Copeland family for a fun, playful session!

Taynara

Taynara is a trooper. It was pouring down rain on the day of her session and she just rolled with it. You can't even tell! Great job, Taynara! You're beautiful.

Cheyenne

Cheyenne is in my home group at church and I've known her for a couple of years. She's quiet but intense when she gets passionate about something. She shaved half her head and looks like a total rock-star yet she has this softness about her too. We had so much fun during our session!

Love this lady!

Jesslyn

Jesslyn was one of my junior models last year. She has such a kind heart. The natural blonde color of her hair is a color I could only ever dream of having and her legs are longer than my entire body! She's a very talented competitive Irish Dancer. Her boyfriend and grandmother (most hip grandma you've ever met) came along for the session and it was a blast! So cute! Jesslyn is such a gem and SUCH a pleasure to photograph.

Jordan (Part 2)

Jordan's session was incredibly enjoyable. We had fun playing in the leaves and enjoying the Fall colors! Just a few years ago I got to shoot Jordan's brother Lane's senior session too. They are both so wonderful!

The Pearsons

I love when families pick a meaningful place for their sessions. The Pearsons chose to have their portraits taken in front of their newly built, beautiful home. What an exciting time to remember! Their lovely faces and fun loving personalities combined with the soft glow of the sun resulted in such a beautiful family portrait session. I'm in love!

Kylla

I remember when I got a call from the counselor at the school. "I have a girl that would be a fantastic intern for you. Are you interested?" I didn't really want to do it right away. I had a string of "interns" who were unreliable and not very motivated. I was leery,  but did it anyway.

Then... Kylla. One of the best things to ever happen to me. Not only has she been a tremendous help to me and my business over the last two years, but she has taught me so much. She's taught me so much about myself, how to teach, how to share, how to learn, and how to love.

And I do. I love this little firecracker. I can't wait to see what she does with the rest of her life now that she is moving on.

I love you, Kylla.

Maddie

Maddie and her best friend scheduled their senior sessions for the same day and we decided to embark on an adventure outside of Central Oregon for these photos. Oh what fun!

We love to offer our senior girls complimentary photos with their moms!
